A month or so ago, I was sitting in church & wondered
"What's the difference between complacency & peace?"
The more I thought about it, the more it intrigued me. I'm interested to know what YOU think about this before I share some of my ideas & perspectives.
FOR ME:

Peace: God cares.
Peace has allows me the courage to act.
Complacency hasn't ever allowed me anything but a continuation with the status quo.
My sister in law wrote my in an e-mail & said:
ReplyDeleteEffort has to be part of it. Peace takes at least the effort to be in tune and humble.
Complacency requires no effort - in fact is usually the result of trying to avoid effort.
I liked what Pat said too.
